We have sanded through to the worn and rustic warmth of our seventy-year-old floor. It now awaits a final coat of polyurethane to protect it from various attacks by land, sea, and air of an intrepid 17 month old toddler. The addition of base shoe molding on the base board will fill the gap left in the absence of carpet and padding, making the room ready for move-in... finally.
